Steering column question
72 c-10 and the guy a bought it from put a newer column in it and I think it's way too long. Does anyone know the original length of a stock column?

Yes!! Please! Mine is like 36". The seat is all the way back and the wheel is in my Chest! I'm thinking I want a 30-32".

I was thinking for some reason the factory was 33 inches, but I may have just dreamed that. boy that is a sad statement if that is what makes up my dreams isn't it.

Here are several pics. top to bottom. You can compare the measurements through out the shaft. Hope this helps.

you can shorten your column 4" , there is a couple threads on here about it.
