Buying a frame
What would be a decent price for a good frame for a 67-72 swb?

Re: Buying a frame
I believe it depends on the condition. When I was looking for a swb frame they seem to always be going for around $400. I got lucky and found one for $300 that had a stepside bed and rearend still on it. Of course the bed was in bad shape, and the rearend was missing the drums but I have parts to make it usable. People on the board are always selling something at some point. Be patient so you don't rush to buy a frame with hidden damage

OK thanks. I have a guy local that has several so we'll just see what he wants for them.

Re: Buying a frame
Hope that doesn't mean you found some damage on your new acquisition.

Re: Buying a frame
If you can negotiate a good price on getting it straightened, I'll give you one. Tweaked pretty bad on the DS behind the crossmember though. Already has c-notch cut-outs.
