mustang tanks anyone have any pointers?

i have a new 66 mustang gas tank to go into my short bed 66, it looks straight forward but just want to know if there is anything to look out for.

The Mustang sending unit will not work with your factory fuel gauge.

na it has 94 f150 bucket seats in it but hey they where free . but the truck did twitch for a few days.
