What???
Been into cars and trucks for 50 years, saw somrthing yesterday that was new, 67-72 style fleetside bed on steroids, guy had 2 look like regular bed but 7 feet wide and around 8 and a half feet long, had to be factory because had tailgate that was definitely not fabbed. First thought was for dually but wheel wells were singles. Anyboby know what they are???? They had metal floors.

Re: What???
That's a wide bed, without pics it's tough to help answer your question. I would be flabbergasted if such a thing was factory. I am not sure why it having a tailgate means it can't be fabbed. If GM can make a tailgate, then a lot of other people can make one too.

Re: What???
Looks like a longhorn length bed, but with the seams smoothed out.. Would be interested in seeing what the cab combination with that bed was being that is does seem to be more wide than a standard bed.. I'd guess that a good body guy built that thing.

Re: What???
Without any other points of reference, it just looks like a regular longbed to me.

Re: What???
Looks like an optical illusion, looking at the fasteners holding the front panel, there is about 18 inches (by measuring mine) between the top fastener and the bottom fastener, extrapolate across the back and you get about 4 lengths or about 72 inches. Nominal fleet bed width is about 71 inches.
