Re: replacing cab mounts
once you lift the cap off the frame its just slidding the new ones in, the hard part is get the cab up and supported!!! i have a C10 so its just the cab and not a full body like you have. get plenty of helpers or use plenty of jacks that can support the weight as close to the mounting points to spread the load as if it were still on the frame. im in detroit so if you need a hand i down!!!

Re: replacing cab mounts
Hey Webby, I just did an airbag job on my Panel. I had to loosen and lift the body in order to the do the c-notch properly.
What I did was remove the bolt on the steering column and separate from the splines, right above the steering box. Then I removed the linkage on my automatic tranny. Loosen the body bolts all around the body and jacked it up side by side patiently. You might need block spacers between the jack and body to get high enough. I'll tell you right now though, them rubber body mounts are not in the market. You will not find any replacements, at least I didn't. Mine were still usable and didn't replace them. Just by looking at those pics, you WILL be breaking them rusted bolts. The cab bolts are a little thicker. Plus you have a pair of bolts up front on the radiator support. Good luck.

Re: replacing cab mounts
Ive been rolling it like this around the city a little bit... it looks like the replacements just slide over my originals? Where are you located pimp?.. im in process of switching to discs up front and pancaking the front cross member... maybe I should tackle these at the same time. I see there's a couple different styles of replacements
