Finally......Suspension and NEW WHEELS!!

I had a TON of help from everyone on the board through advice and parts. I installed new upper ball joints, front 3" lowering springs, front end, 2" lowering blocks and adjustable trac bar. Wheels are American Racing Daytona and I saw these on another board members vehicle and really liked them. What do you guys think??

Truck looks good! I will ask the typical question, what size backspacing are they?

Re: Finally......Suspension and NEW WHEELS!!

Did it have lowering springs in the back already? If so what were they prior to the blocks. Awesome looking truck, perfect ride height!

Re: Finally......Suspension and NEW WHEELS!!

When I got it the PO cut the front springs and put CPP lowering springs in the rear (5" I think). The front was alway unlevel and the rear was too high, which bugged the crap out of me. After putting in the new 3" lowering springs up front and the 2" blocks, it leveled out nicely. After getting advice from Hector (original-71) I did the blocks without c-notch and got the tire sizes where I wanted them. There is only about an inch clearance between the frame and rear end. It is tight but I am not going to be hauling anything so I figure it will be fine.

Re: Finally......Suspension and NEW WHEELS!!

Yes sir - 17" Wheel Vintiques. I literally just bought new tires for it like 6 months ago and they might have 50 miles on them. I really liked the look of them, but I saw the AM and fell in love.

I think they look great on your truck, and like the gray wheels against the red.

Re: Finally......Suspension and NEW WHEELS!!

Thanks guys! I haven't trimmed the bump stops yet. I also have to tighten up the front suspension and finish installing the rear trac bar to get it center. I was just Joe Joe to see what it looked like all together. Now I have to pull it all apart to finish.
