1971 Chevy Cheyenne 4x4
Just got back into a classic Chevy truck! It's a 1971 Chevy Cheyenne. It kinda found me really, I kept turning it down until it was offered to me for a grand. I was able to drive it home but needs a serious ignition or carb tune up.
Their is a bunch of surface rust but there is not a bit of rust out. Floors and rockers are as solid as the day they were pressed. Some random small dents as it used to be a plumber's truck with a pipe rack and all I guess. It has three monster gas tanks. Here's a bit of a puzzler, it has what I assume are the original CA black plates. They stopped using those in '69 so I was thinking maybe the truck was first registered in some backwater California DMV that hadn't exhausted its stack of black plates. Either way, I though thought it was pretty cool. Thought I'd share! |
