WTB: 235 Flywheel
I have a 55-56 235 and the original flywheel has hairline cracks and missing teeth. Having a hard time sourcing one locally, anyone have one for sale? truck will be 12 volt so I believe I need the 138 tooth. Thanks in advance.

Re: WTB: 235 Flywheel
I would get the flywheel ground, heat checking ( cracks) is common in flywheels and not an issue as long as they are not to deep. The ring can be gotten at rockauto.com
ATP Part # ZA500 and should be 168. The 6 volt ring gear has 139 teeth and the 12 volt ring gear has 168 teeth |

Re: WTB: 235 Flywheel
Napa says it should have a 168 tooth flywheel. http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/Ca...151_0359617202
You should be able to have it surfaced if the cracks aren't very deep. Check with Austin Brake and Clutch supply http://www.austinbrake.com/ I'd think that they can surface the flywheel and probably fix you up with the ring gear and the rest of the clutch.
