1988 1 owner crew cab 2wd 3500 80k miles

Just trying to figure out what this truck might be worth. I bought a 1 owner 88 Chevy crew cab from an older gentleman the other day. 88 crew cab Chevy 3500 single wheel 2wd TBI 454 . ac has been converted to 134a and new compressor. Dash pad has cracks interior is pretty much perfect other than carpet and dash pad carpet isn't bad just needs cleaned. No rust anywhere but has some paint flake on roof. I'm going to take better pics when cleaned up. The tailgate was taken off at 500 miles and stored in garage from 1988 until last week when I bought it. Perfect tailgate. I drove the truck 50 or so miles home with no issues other than rough idle but I'm sure it could use a tune up and fresh gas. I plan on selling once title gets here in my name. Probably the nicest crew cab that's unmolested I've seen. What's this cool truck worth.

Re: 1988 1 owner crew cab 2wd 3500 80k miles

Not sure how much this helps, but last year my dad sold his '88 Suburban for $2500.

It was originally my grandpa's. 97,000 original miles, TBI 454, tow package and all that. A/C didn't work, headliner sagging, a few tears in the seat. We did a little body work and repainted. Ran like a top though.

Like I said, we got $2500.

So I'd say based on looks, yours is around the some condition, give or take. If I was in the market for that truck, I'd probably pay $2500 to $3500.

IMO, a lot of the value is in that TBI 454, with only 80,000 miles on it!

Yeah I was thinking around $4500 obo as is or consider something 67-72 partial trade and some cash maybe. Will see maybe someone else will chime in thanks for your opinion.

$1500-3000 around here. Looks more like a $2000 truck though to be honest. Those trucks are plentiful and not desirable compared to the 4x4 version or even dually version. But that's just up here on the west coast.
