Ball Joint Removal

Trying to remove the ball joints on my 64 Chevy 1/2 ton. Have new ones coming soon. My question is, does the lower "pressed in" ball joint press out the "top" or "bottom" of the A-arm?
Of course I don't have a press, so I planned on using blocks, torch, and a big hammer. Any tips or suggestions to make the job go easier? Thanks for your help!

Ball Joint Remova

Thanks again Zenish. Got the ball joints out. Used a big old puller, a piece of pipe, and a steel plate to press out the lower joints. Worked good. Used a a drill, hammer and chisel on the upper ball joint rivets..... came out pretty good. Thanks, Tom
