Diamond "In The Rough"

Wanted you to see what I brought home yesterday ? Helped a neighbor move out of the back country and wound up getting this 47 or 48 Diamond T Model 201. Hope to get it running this summer, looks like crap but is rust free and complete.

Re: Diamond "In The Rough"

Ya wouldn't read about it! Well actually you would... I was rummaging through the back shed last week and came across a box of old car mags, so I thought I would re-read them. This was in the Feb 89 issue of Collectable Automobile, and I was thinking what a grouse truck that would be to have.

Re: Diamond "In The Rough"

I got it home last weekend , loaded easier then one of our pickups ? Had a friend winch it on to my trailer with his 1960 jeep. Those pto winches work great. Pulled the plugs and filled each cylinder with diesel and ATF fluid. It's a 1949 210 .if any one knows of a source for DAYTON wheels please let me know....thanks for the support guys ! This one I will be keeping for a while....

Re: Diamond "In The Rough"

My Dad built one several years back. It's actually on a Crown Vic frame & running gear (his go to chassis). Drove it from TN to my brothers house in Vegas, then to my place in SoCal & took it to the Pomona Show.
