Recasting Hickey Dana 44 covers
I have been collecting quotes for recasting Hickey Dana 44 covers. These will look identical to the original on the outside, but will have my stamp on the inside to prevent fraud. What I need now is an idea of how many to cast. These will not be cheap but will be perfect. Please post below if interested.
Sorry no ordering yet. Just trying to gauge the market. |

Re: Recasting Hickey Dana 44 covers
Define not cheap? You will get a much more accurate response if you give a ballpark price.

Re: Recasting Hickey Dana 44 covers
I'd be interested if US made. There's a very similar cover on the market now sandcast and US made for $195 here that I'm tempted to grab: http://www.yourcovers.com/diffcover_6057.php
Wonder if working with this company could reduce expense? This similar cover should put the expense of doing a special run of covers into perspective, which I imagine is pricey.

Re: Recasting Hickey Dana 44 covers
Cost include shipping? US made? I'm in if the mounting holes and threaded plug are included in final product and US made

Re: Recasting Hickey Dana 44 covers
Thinking out loud, I wonder if that logo is trademarked?
