signal indicator

I need some help on my 71 chevy pickup. When I turn my headlights on my left signal indicator lights up. I have replaced the grounds all over I changed the light switch out because it was sticking but havent found the issue yet. Can anyone help me?

Re: signal indicator

You don't have light bleeding through the areas around the turn signal indicator lighting it up do you? Sometimes those clusters aren't sealed between the spaces very good That may be too simple to be the trouble. Jim

Re: signal indicator

Could be a turn signal at one of the corners that isn't making a good ground connection. try unplugging them one at a time and see if that narrows it down.

Re: signal indicator

You have a bad bulb somewhere. Check your front and rear turn signal bulbs. Whenever a bulb is bad, it causes a dash blinker to remain on.
