Most difficult part of restoration?

I am in the middle of piecing together rear cab support, rear pillar, rear floor patch, and rear cab support. Trying to get these parts all lined up is driving me crazy. It just got me wondering. Is this gonna be the most difficult part of the restoration? I sure hope so. What do you guys think?

Whatever is giving you fits right now is always the worst part. A month from now something different will be pissing you off and you will look back and say "the floor wasn't really that bad".

don't know if it's the most difficult but the cab on my truck is definitely going to be the most expensive part until it goes to paint that is

I don't know about most "difficult" but my least favorite part was removing the factory undercoating on the bottom of the cab. I tried all the "tricks" everyone suggested on getting it off but the only thing that worked was some elbow grease with a torch and a scraper. Very dirty (and stinky) job.

Time..or lack thereof...is the worst part of a restoration.

Whatever you estimate for time to finish a particular task will take 3x longer...and cost 3 times as much as the original estimate.

Staying motivated through the long process is the hardest part. You feel as though you will never make progress and get aggravated and want to quit and sell the whole dang works. That is when you step away a bit and come back later.

Typically whatever you happen to be working on at the moment!!! Nothing ever seems to go as planned.....

Waiting for the money until the next phase...at least for me, much rather just keep going and money not be an issue, then mistakes and redo's wouldnt be that big of a deal, and just a part of the learning process

The most difficult part was cleaning 40+ years of crap off of everything. The hardest part (for me) was electrical because I had no experience in that area.

bodywork is my least favorite ,,and if you leave it for someone else to do , the term "paint jail" applies

zinc nuts and bolts you have to paint right when you want to install it.

For me it time. So when you do have time, you have to make the best use of it. Have what you are going to do specifically planned out (on paper if necessary) and make sure you have all materials, parts and tools you need. If I don't do this, I find myself spinning my wheels and wasting the limited time I have.

Right one it's stripping the paint off these stinking grill hoops. Buy new ones!

I am finding the most difficult thing of my restoration is the 10 - 12 hour days on my days off trying to get his truck done, painted and together. Trying hard to have it together and on the road for the farther day car show. I have to go to work for a rest during the week. I am really tired of the sanding.
