Found a Treat Under the Hood...
I've been wanting to run the casting number on the olds 350 sitting in Lester currently, finally got a chance today: 395558 2
According to my research, that's a '68-'70 motor with 250( two barrel) or 310 ( four barrel) horsepower. I got the 4-bbl...so it looks like Lester has a bit more power than I expected.  Least ways, almost 200 more than the original diesel...
