Sway bar question
Does anyone know if I can use a 1995 chev truck sway bar on a 1967 truck?
I am taking the power train from the 95 and noticed it has the sway at and mine does not. Both trucks are 2wd 1/2 tons. |

The 87 on back will fit but I dought if the 95 will. They have a different frame.

Re: Sway bar question
It will not fit. I have been all through the 88-98 style frames many many times as I built those trucks [from wrecks] for a living. They are nowhere close to the older style bar that is in the 87 back truck. Jim

Re: Sway bar question
New, heavier bars cost 120.00 and an additional 30 for the urethane bushings. Not that expensive!

Re: Sway bar question
I just put a rear sway bar from a 1995 GMC Yucon on my 70. The front one is off a mid 80's (if I rememder right.)
