1. took apart my engine, and cleaned most of the parts
2. Fabbed a track arm
3. Varnished and put in some crown molding in the house(xmas gift for the wife)
4. Drank 4 coronas, 2 margaritas, smoked 2 Cohibas
5. Looked at porn on the net

I got my 77 running again. I can now tell you from experience, DO NO let your tach lead touch a positive voltage source. While testing a tach dash out, this occured and took out a few ignition parts.

After replacing the coil and ignition module, AND remembering to plug all the wires back in, he is back on the road. I also put a new rotor and dizzy cap on for good measure while I was there...
