Hi All!
I'm new here, and wanted to say "Hi!"
I have a 72 Cheyenne, which started as a driver, but all I wanted to do was replace the rocker panels.... Well, I started that, and while i had the interior opened up, patched up some floor panels... hey while I'm there, why not replace the under-dash wiring? Ok, I felt like giving it a quick paint refreshing... but to do it right, I need to remove the doors, and the fenders, and the bed... gee, seeing I have the body parts off, why not just pull the motor & trans and clean up the firewall, so it will look nice? Wow... I've got all these parts pulled off to "clean up", so why don't I just pull the cab off the frame, so I can get those "hard to reach areas"? Hmmm... man, that frame would really look great all cleaned up, with the grease and crap off it... and this would be a good time to re-do the suspension and such... So now, I have a bare frame ready to have blasted, a bunch of parts that have already been blasted, and a cab that is totally opened up, waiting for it's turn for attention. Honesy, all I wanted to do was replace the rocker panels and drive it! LOL! |
