Silly question : How tight do you tighten under bed spare tire?
I just put a new 235/75r15 on a 7" ralley wheel. How tight should the bolts be? When I tighten it seems like the sidewall of the tire is indented pretty good where the cross braces are. Maybe this is normal, just wanted to see what you all thought. Thanks

Snug it up to where it doesn't rattle or move, and then a little more. It shouldn't be indented permanently where it touches the braces.

Agree. It shouldn't slide or move.
In the assembly plant we tightened them up until the brace would start to bend.
