Throttle Linkage

I have a 69 C/10 with a 350,just put a new carb on it and when I go to hook up the linkage the peddle is all the way to the floor.I know it is probably an easy fix but it has me stumped.Any help or pics would be a great help.

Thanks Bobby

if you have the throttle rod, i am thinking that the adjustable connecting piece that threads on the rod and hooks on the carb linkage is not adjusted right

I'm thinking the sae thing. Yu need to screw the adjustable in nthe end out t ae the rd inger. If yu don't have enught adjustment to make it wryu may have tog with a universal set up like this
