Military Pickup/Blazer $$
Does anyone know a good place to find a decent used 80's military chevy?
Either a 5/4 ton pickup or a 3/4 ton blazer. I have around $3,000 to find a good driver. Near Indiana would be great. Any one?

Check any local military bases. I know that Tinker AFB, here in Midwest City, has auctions for all kind of stuff, including vehicles.

Try this place. However, from what I've seen 3000 won't get you much with those trucks.

http://www.autoauctions.gsa.gov/index.cfm
https://gsaauctions.gov/gsaauctions/aucindx/ http://www.govliquidation.com/ you can usualy buy 2-3 for $3k. If you buy K30's then you can part one and pay for the rest. Then put one together. Every one of the trucks I have seen come from those above sites had under 50k on them. Most did not have major mechanical problems. They sat then wouldnt start so they swiped parts off it. I have seen one with under 10 K on it. THe front 60 looked NEW. Just watch out because your bidding against Boyce.
