97-99 Tahoe Limited ground effects

Where is an aftermarket place to find these? I removed the running boards from my Tahoe and it really leaves a hole there.. I think what the Limited's have looks good..

Thanks!

Re: 97-99 Tahoe Limited ground effects

The Limited was a one-year-only 2000 model, FYI.

I've seen some aftermarket Tahoe body kits that look very similar to the Limited, but I bet getting your hands on an actual Limited kit would be pretty tough.

I didn't realize it was only one year. Thanks for that info. Something similar would be fine too.

First time I've ever heard of a '99 Limited.

Seeing you folks are talking about Tahoe Limiteds I have this pic archived and my understanding is that the Arizona Police Dept that has the Tahoe limited in the pic ordered 50 of them that year.

That's pretty sweet. I see a Tahoe Z71 behind it.

Can you post a pic of your 99 Limited?

Re: 97-99 Tahoe Limited ground effects

The Tahoe Limited for 2000 had the same suspension package (Z56 ) as the 1999 Z56 Tahoe Police Package. Other than the ground effects and fog lites on the Limited a big difference between them was the 2000 Limited had the 16 inch 5 bolt rims and tires and the 1999 Z56 Police Tahoe had 15 inch 5 bolt rims and tires. The reason GM didnt put 16's on the 99 was because there were still a ton of 9C1 Police Package Caprices in service and GM wanted the agencies to be able to use the stockpiled 15 inch tires they had bought for the Caprices. I have a 1999 Z56 Tahoe and it handles great but would be better with 16 x 8 rims instead of the 15 x 7's. Sorry Steve ( 61 FL Apache ) for walking on your thread somewhat when all you asked about was ground effects.
