griffin radiator / 71-72 pedal conversion pic request
those that did the conversion with the lfd adapter.....any pix of how the pedal rod sits fully released?? esp in relation to the air duct for factory air trucks cuz mine hits the hose.....
also, just installed the thick griffin radiator and was curious if anyone else has installed one in their truck and what they did to the upper mounts and how they mounted the factory fan shroud up?? |

Re: griffin radiator / 71-72 pedal conversion pic request
I did the Griffin radiator with their shroud and dual electric fan kit. I used some after market aluminum top and bottom brackets. Don't clamp the radiator down so that there is no play. You should be able to move the radiator up and down and side to side with your body weight. I tightened mine down and ended up with a cracked radiator after a couple of thousand miles. If you have any doubts call Griffin.

cool deal. thats why i shaved down the new rubbers so i would be able to tighten the brackets without being crazy tight...ill add a couple spacers to give it a lil give cuz it is a snug fit but not squeezing it down much.
