Re: Parting 74 Jimmy (Blazer)
ray
Im still interested in the amber lenses for the front directionals the radio knob set and I was wondering.... does this K5 have the stainless trim that goes in the rear side window areas where the top bolts to the bed sides? they are 73-75 only pieces.. they dont have to be perfect..just good. I need a second set for my 73.... (I have a set for the 74) are you getting another K5 to part out? Dan

Re: Parting 74 Jimmy (Blazer)
I have a 73 Blazer that I will sell a few parts off of, but this thing runs so good that I'm using it as the ranch truck for a while. The stainless piece sets on the fiberglass and the bolts go through it to hold the top down? Is that the part?

Re: Parting 74 Jimmy (Blazer)
Dan, Let me research selling these separate from the top...the last top I sold, the guy wanted all of the mounting pieces to go with it.
Thanks, Ray |

Re: Parting 74 Jimmy (Blazer)
well if I was out that way id take the whole top....lol I took mine off a 73 top that now i need the top/// such is life
ideally id take the front half and make it a half top... so i wouldnt need the rails but for now i do.... i can bolt it down and use big fender washers in the interim but it be nice to have the pieces

Re: Parting 74 Jimmy (Blazer)
I'll take 2 15x7 steel wheels if you still have them and are willing to break up the pair.
I'm up in Sacramento again next Tuesday. Last edited by sighlurr; 03-31-2012 at 10:33 AM. |

Re: Parting 74 Jimmy (Blazer)
FYI 203's were orginally available on 4-speeds along with the 205's... If you look at the pictures, there is a 203 shifter (square vs round) sticking through the floor.

Re: Parting 74 Jimmy (Blazer)
Sorry, I don't have any parts from this one (old thread). The brackets you are looking for are hard to come by. Some of the 73-74 were bolted on and most were part of the core support.

Re: Parting 74 Jimmy (Blazer)
Ray
Anything left on this one. I might be in need of a lower steering shaft (in between the column and the steering gear box) for a 76' column I just picked up on trade. Anything like that lying around and how much shipped to 20121? Mike
