my blend door has a rectangle that is hanging from it and next to it is another door without a motor both doors have this rectangle thing hanging from them and they look like they need to be connected in some way but I am not sure.
Sometimes the one with the motor gets hung up and the a/c display starts to blink. After I unhang it the display turns back to normal.
The fan works but the doors are not directing the air to the right location can anyone help me with this?
These doors are located under the dash toward the center of the truck
I have searched other threads but no one seems to have had this problem.

:Thes is some of the methods that I tried on my 90 Z71 uhmk:tryied disconnecting the battery for 10 or 20 mins, mine well work for a little will doing this ?? now it doesn't what to control the hot to cold feature,So I'm at AH AH thinking it could be one or two of the little servo motors that controls the levels and hot to cold or VS VERSA??/ and it could still be the control panel in self, I've seriously though about putting chock cables in to control the levels and hot to cold ??/middel of winter and I really don't want to mess with it it you find a fix send me a note Steve I'm going to say those rectangle thing hanging from them are actuators (little servo motors that control all of my cold / hot air

flaps (Doors) My problem is my door was either to hard for the actuator to close

and open the door and now the motor is really weak so I have one from a salvage yard that I'm going to try ??/ You can tell if its the motor and or the flap by disconnecting it and not attached plugging it back in to see how it functions??/ See pic's for location on mine there are three ??/You can go to GMPartsGiant.com go to your year find the page on AC/Heat controls and there will be a diagram on your vehicle click on details and wa la ??/ SEe item's 6 , 21 , and 24
