Re: What Year is This 5 Blade Fan?
Just FYI, to add a little to maybe help others, the following is a four blade fan found on both 1965 and 1966 "292" 6 cylinder engines. The 1965 was on a low mileage one ton military ambulance, the 1966 is from a C10 pickup, both appeared to very original.

Re: What Year is This 5 Blade Fan?
Most all GM fans will have a part number stamped into it somewhere on the part, and it'll almost always start with the number "3". Find the part number and type it into Google and see what comes back. You may get lucky and it'll pinpoint the year and application.
What part of Louisville are you from? I was born and raised in the South End, around Iroquois Park. My brothers are still there, and they live in Okolona, near Moore High School.

Earlier Chevrolets use a smaller bolt pattern on the blade mount, not sure what year they changed but I know in the early 70s they used the blade you have pictured.

Re: What Year is This 5 Blade Fan?
Is there a big "U" shape stamped in each blade around the outside of the rivets ? I don't recognize that blade at all. 292s with heavy duty cooling or V8s with AIR have a 5 blade fan similar to yours but are all 5 rivet per blade fans. The only marking on the fan is a "W" . No part number. The GM Part numbers for these blades are 3770262 or 3789562. Below is a flat rivet style and an earlier round rivet style.

Re: What Year is This 5 Blade Fan?
I think some of the trucks built for northern climates had 3-blade fans too.
