Ok thanks just wanted to make sure no damage can happen in 13 miles. I put a whole lotta time and money it this drop..Getting dropped of off tomm for alignment..

Here are some pics of my drop took three days with crappy rainy weather. I need a garage!! You can see the pile of parts i ripped out and replaced. Still have to put on idler arm, pitman arm and figure out how to install my sway bar. thank god i bought the angle grinder to remove those 40 yo bolts.. might have to remove frame mount not are yet. |

So I'm getting ready to put my new wheels on.. The question is I'm going to trim the lower control arm. Am I just going jack the truck up put on the rim steer and see we're it hits and trim as needed? Does the suspension need the at normal ride height to steer and check or can it be hanging and check while jacked up no load.. Do I have to jack under the a-arm?

Put the trucks weight on the a-arm to simulate ride height.
