Bagged and 1 piece driveshaft ?
I have a 1968 Suburban with bags in place of rear coils no notch. I am going to install a Gearvendors overdrive next week and I am wondering if I can use a 1 piece shaft. The gear vendors adds 14" to the transmission length .

Re: Bagged and 1 piece driveshaft ?
Sure.
As long as it will pass thru the trailing arm crossmember. Cycle the suspension to verify it.

Re: Bagged and 1 piece driveshaft ?
Would flipping the trailing arm mounts on the cross member help with clearance of worsen the problem ?

My bet would be 'make it worse'.
