Please post

Some close up shots of 283 engine compartments either original or dressed up. Any and all pictures would be great!

Well..........actually both he and I USED to work at a local Chevy dealership. We worked in the quick lube department, and when they needed extra help, we'd do new car deliveries (cleaning the car and removing all the plastic sheeting from the interior, washing the exterior, etc, and reconditioning on used cars, mostly after they were already picked out by the buyer. We haven't done that for a few years though, now I work at a company that makes shock, steering, and bearing seals, and he works at a company that installs sprinkler systems in industrial buildings.

BTW... we just did that one afternoon because he had to remove the valve cover anyway to tighten up one of the rockers to get rid of a tick, and he has since removed the oil bath air cleaner and ctashed it away and put in a round air cleaner with a chrome cover. He's going to fix it up and repaint it in a few years, but he doesn't plan on selling it any time soon.
