'57 door window removal???

Is there a trick to removing the door windows? ive removed the vent windows and can get the rear part out of the track but cannot get the front part of the window out of the track. is there something im not doing right? Gonna blast & paint my doors and replace cracked glass.. Thanks..

The bottom window channel is attached to the winding mechanism with two clutch head screws. You have to slid the track along the rollers to get access to the screws from the cab side of the door. then roll down the mech holding the window (channel and glass separate from the mech. Lower and tilt the glass and channel front bottom down then lift it out of the door slot at an angle.

ah, ok. I saw the 2 clutch head screws but I was trying to slide the track & window together off the winding mech. Ill try taking them out. Thanks OrrieG.
