70 GMC K2500 Reman PS Pump Problem
Hello,
I am new to the forum. I am building up a 70 GMC k2500. I just converted the Dana 44 in the front to disk brakes, have a vac boost kit. Also just put on a new 2" Tuff Country suspension, new internally regulated alternator and am in the process of putting in a completely new power steering system. All the parts are NAPA. The box fit great but the pump is a different story. When I got it I thought it looked right but didn't look real close. The filler neck is different, the bolt pattern is about an inch too small, the inlet fitting is in the wrong location and the pulley is misaligned. The NAPA picture for the part # looks correct but is different from what they gave me. Does anyone have the part # for the correct pump, either from NAPA or another retailer. The one I have is #81-6635F. I attached a few pictures of how the truck currently sits and the PS pump. If you see anything I put in wrong please let me know! My phone with all the tear down pictures on it broke the other week. THANKS! |

You might do a search. Someone posted a picture of that pump within the the last couple weeks. I don't remember if there was a solution.
