What did my truck look like

Hello everyone, in getting ready for painting my truck I am wanting to see what the original paint looked like. on my spid it has red-off/white and the number 4544AD. Is the number 4544AD the paint code for both the red and white? If anyone else has a truck this color would you care to post a picture so I could see what it looks like. Thanks-JP

Re: What did my truck look like

Since you didn't specify the year I'm going off the description only.
Either 67 or 68 would have used 526 Off White as the secondary color.
The primary body color was 514 Light Red. Together in a Conventional Two-Tone these code the 544 you are showing.
The Ditzler/PPG crosses for the paint codes are
526 = 8290
514 = 70704

Since 67 and 68 used different paint schemes on the roof plus there were a number of interior paint combinations, let me know the year, interior trim level and color code as well.

For general reference here is a 68 CST Longhorn in 544 (526/514) with non-stock side stripes.

For a Two-Tone scheme breakdown over the years you might want to read this. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...12&postcount=9

Re: What did my truck look like

Tim, thanks for the reply. The truck is a 68. What do you mean by interior trim level? Also, is there a NAPA Martin Senour paint that is the same? I would love to use ppg but there is not a ppg place anywhere around here (that I have found yet). Thanks-JP

Re: What did my truck look like

Trim levels would be like is it a bsse trim truck or does it have the Custom C&A Z62 or CST Z84 interior options?

514 light red is a pretty common color you should not have trouble getting a match from just about anyone. The 526 should not be that much of a problem either.
