Need help with the suspenion
I'm getting ready to purchase a 2007 Silverado Reg Cab SWB Z71 and it has a 6" lift on it with a chrome full brush guard and a Warn 15000 pound winch. I'm going to remove the brush guard and winch and sell them (new condition). I want to remove the lift and take the truck back to stock height or at a minimum down to a 3" lift height.
My question is... Can a 6" lift be adjusted down to a 3" height? What is involved and needed to take it back to stock height? It has a 6" fox racing suspension lift kit on it I believe. Thanks in advance for any help... |

Re: Need help with the suspenion
Depends on if new lift spindles were used and other aftermarket suspension parts. Why not just look for a non-lifted truck? You're gonna go through a lot of work, money and parts just to put a lifted truck back to stock... Fox just makes the shocks as far as I know... could be any manufacturer of the actuaL lift kit.

Re: Need help with the suspenion
the front diff mounting ear is most likley cut off and the top mount bracket for the front diff on the frame will also be cut off if it is any of the 6" lifts that i have seen
