Re: History has been Made!! Pics as Promised
Please bare with me as i learn how to post these LONG Awaited Pics!!!
a Little History, I bought the Vette for $2500 and as of today i have sold $500 worth of small thing's off it. The Car was running and in pretty good shape BUT sat out in the AZ sun and it really took its toll on the Car, also the guy left a can of compressed air in the passenger seat and it blew up in the car (Interior was pretty Ratty) my goal is to install the front & rear suspension motor and trans in my 58 Cameo (That is my 59 Stepside in the Back ground ( Also my Grandfathers 29ModelA Tudor Sedan on the Right) I have both the Rear and front Kits to install from Flat Out Enginering..Still need to purchase the Coil over shocks but will get everything mounted first! Re: History has been Made!! Pics as Promised
Now I understand, will be cool to watch. They can be a pain, I have a friend that bought one of that generation, didn't drive it much and the battery went dead over the winter. Could not get it started after putting in a new battery, he said it was something with the anti-theft system. Worked on it over the summer, even had GM trained techs try and get it going. Still sitting, not running, in his shop health issues have taken a priority.

Expensive i know! I know Fabguy fabricated his own rear mounts and i could of done the same but i decided to buy the kit and have to say i am very happy with what i got (The Welds are a Work of Art by the way!) i also purchased the Braided steel brake line's for front and back that they had at a discounted price at the time i purchased the kits, I know you can do it much cheaper but i went with there kits instead because i am not getting any younger and Really want to see my Cameo Finished before i Die! Re: History has been Made!! Pics as Promised
I'm all for spending what you have to, to get your truck done and on the road. My build went from a $6000 budget to spending $12,000 in 1 year to get it on the road and driving. I was thinking of going this same Corvette Route for my wife 58 GMC build so I'll be keeping a very close eye on this build

Re: History has been Made!! Pics as Promised
Right on! Another C4 build! I'm doing a 51 with a homemade C4 IFS crossmember and D44 rear from a 96 Vette. Using a LT1 with auto trans as well.
Fill your thread with pics. I know I want to see them. C4fivewindow, got any more info on your build?
