Hello super72bb, yes I am here and am very, very close to announcing a price on the videos. There were a few details to work out when I finished all the editing and it seems its the small details that take more time than expected.
I will say this, anyone who will ever want to tackle any type of panel replacement especially on these trucks will find these videos very useful and a good investment indeed. One of the things I wanted to accomplish on this video project was to create a tool that I would like to have had as a guide when I was learning years ago. As I have said in the past what a drasticly shorter and less painful learning curve it would have been for me. My goal is to do the same for everyone who makes this investment. Believe me, I can't wait for your reviews to see if I have failed or succeeded.

I am working very hard to make them widely available very soon. Please stay tuned and thanks for your patience..........eb

You don't happen to have any of those filler plates left for the hole in the cab where the gas tank neck was, do you.

Guys, I have not cut any in a while now. I'll cut some after I finish up the loose ends with the videos, but can't say when for sure. I think Wes at classicheartbeat.com is selling them but if I'm not mistaken they are flat, and don't have the body shape contour like the ones I have been cutting. If they are big enough, you may be able to shape them and make them work fine. Contact Wes for some feedback. If they won't allow for shaping and still be big enough to fit the hole and you want contoured ones, I'll cut a few more for you guys. I got in a little hot water with a few board members when I tried to hire someone to cut some for me, it took a while and they were not good, so I just cut them all myself. unfortunately it took a few months to get these out and it PO'd some people (rightfully so) and I don't want to repeat that.
Check with Wes first then let me know here. Please no PM's, I keep a regular check here lately..............thanks, eb

Do you think that in the mean time I should try and find a set of NOS rockers or will a good set of aftermarket OE ones work fine.

super72bb, its been my experience that the GM rockers and the aftermarket ones are about the same as far as fit goes. Most of the replacement panels regardless of where they come from will more times than not, need some tweeking, some more than others.
As you will see in the videos, it took two rockers spliced together to get a good fit on the right side of the project cab. Both on the outside and where the door seal meets the door shell on the inside, and we used NOS doors. BTW, one of the rockers was a GM rocker and the other was aftermarket.

I really think it kind of depends on what you expect your cab to look like when you're done with the repairs. For me, its got to be perfect or very close to perfect and NO BONDO, so naturally its takes more time and effort.

I know you probably get asked this a million times but would you consider doing my body work on my truck if you could take as long as you need?It needs the usual stuff rockers, corners,floorpans,and cab supports.I was hesitant to ask because I know how busy you are but i thought if I never asked I'd never know.I've been checkin around locally but don't really trust any local guys or maybe it's that I been lookin for someone who doesn't love to use Bondo!

knucklebuster, no problem with asking. In fact I am honored that you would consider asking me to work on your truck. But, yes unfortunately with my work load right now and with the other projects I'm committed to along with being a daddy to my 14 month old daughter, I have very little time for anything else at this time.
Have you ever mig welded? Would you consider using the videos as a guide and doing it yourself?

I welded a little back in high school,I have several friends that weld so I could probably get them to help me out.I do plan on buying some of your videos to really see if I think I could do it.Look forward to seeing them.Thanks again.

eb,does any of your vids tackle the winshield area inside the cab,mine is rusting along the edge by the windsheild across the cab,also does it cover cab supports,thanks marc
