Factory/dealer order form
One of my hobbies is wondering how I would option a truck if I could go back in time. Yeah, I need to get out more.
One thing I've been unable to find is a dealer order form, such as what you'd use to select options when ordering a custom truck (67-72). There are tons of option lists, but it's often unclear what option is available with what other option or on what trim line or weight class. Could I get a comfort-ride suspension seat in a Custom Camper? Sounds like a great idea, but I have no idea. Anyone every seen a scan of one, or have one to share?

Re: Factory/dealer order form
No, actually that's later in the process. I mean the form that the customer (or dealer) would check the boxes for what options, and that led you through the process of "if you pick that option, it comes with X but you cannot get Y".

Re: Factory/dealer order form
I have a 1969 Truck Sales book that lists prices and options for everything in the Chevrolet Truck line from El Caminos to the 80-series. It has MSRP pricing as well as shipping costs and such for every truck in the 1969 model year. Blazers were new in '69, but all were 4WD. If you wanted to order a C-20 Longhorn with a 292 and Air Conditioning with Custom Cab...it'll enable you to price it out.
I like to piddle with it from time-to-time and "build" some one-off vehicles on paper. It's something I've done since 1961 when Dad gave me a Ford Buyer's Guide. I'm sure there are others on here who have the dealer guides for other years.

Re: Factory/dealer order form
I have the '71 dealer data book, but no way to share. It has everything from Vegas to Corvettes to Step Vans. The info on what could be ordered with what or what was required to get which option is in there. Remember the Heavy Chevy (Chevelle)? It's all broken down in there. The pricing is all there, list and suggested retail. Front & rear* 10.00-16.5 tires on 8.25 wheels totals $193.90 ($102.60 fr/$91.30 rr)
*Available only when 8.75 or 10.00-16.5 tubeless or 7.50-16 tube-type hiway front tires are ordered. Optional spare wheel mandatory and must match either front or rear wheels. Production spare wheel deleted

Cell phone photo of a page of paper is surprisingly useful sometimes, give it a shot!

Click on "Chevrolet trucks" and then on the model year of interest. These will show all options that were available for that particular year and will also show how the packages combine or block specific option content. K http://www.gmheritagecenter.com/gm-h...tion-kits.html

Re: Factory/dealer order form
Perfect, thanks! I've been there before but never even though to look for trucks. Duh.

Re: Factory/dealer order form
Here are a couple of shots of the 72 Blazer and Suburban order from. Might even be the exact one Blazerman has (check the pre-printed order number).
