gas pedap removal?

So I'm removing my floor mat to wire brush an clean up my floor boards but I cant figure out at all how to remove my floor mounted gas pedal. Its a 1965 chevy c10. Any help ypu guys? I kno dumb question.

There are two knob looking things that are rounded on the end secured to the floor at the bottom of the pedal. The gas pedal snaps into these. Put a screw driver underneath the bottom of the pedal. It should pop up off of the rounded knobs.

Darn, I didn't have that problem. All kidding aside - if you look directly under my suspended gas pedal you can se the nubs that held the original gas pedal in place. Just grab the top of your gas pedal and pull it hard toward you and it should snap right out.

Well I should a let you guys know but I figured it out before coming back on here. Ya I know dumb question but even worse......more rot an its not good.
