70 4x4 disc conv, which brake lines to use

Hi,
I have a 1970 GMC k2500. I've converted the front dana 44 over to disc brakes. I've also added the power booster kit. Now I am needing to get new brake lines.

I know the lines to the master are going to be different but are the rest of the bends between a 70 and a 71 pretty close? What about diameters.

Bottom line what makes the two brake line sets different?

Thanks ahead of time!

I bought a later dana 44. I believe mine was from a 75. Then I switched the axle shafts and everything from the knuckles out.

Do you have open or closed knuckle D44? If open knuckle, then you don't need to swap axles. I have a '70 open knuckle design, which (from what I understand) makes this easier.

Re: 70 4x4 disc conv, which brake lines to use

I would like to go to disc up front, but i don't want to swap out the axle to do so. Im not sure if i have a closed or opened knuckle, how do i tell the difference, i can take pics if you guys could tell me. Too bad this thread didn't pop up last week as my truck was up on blocks with all the wheels off. Sorry for butting into your thread farmallboy, hopefully you get the answer you are looking for.
