Greetings! Welcome to the forum. C'mon in and look around. You're among friends here.

Really like your truck. That's the look I'm working toward with my ride. You're going to have to find a longer parking spot though.

Hey thanks guys for the welcome. Willie just looked at the pics of your 72 highlander, it looks pretty sweet already. Nice colors and the grill fits in nice with those colors too. What differences are there in the highlander? scuse the lack of knowledge, im only a flamin ozzie. and the only car space big enough there was the beach in the background, HaHa Not many cars that long over here.
Cheers for now.

Thanks for the kind words. They way I understand it, the Highlander was a late edition for 1972. Word had gotten out about the total body makeover in 1973, so Chevy came up with three Highlander packages to help sell remaining stock. I think all were Custom Deluxe.

Promo package codes:

A= YG6 Plaid Trim, Special Wheelcovers C10 (PA1) or Chrome Hubcaps C20-30 (PO3), Chrome Front Bumper, Upper (Belt) Molding, Door Edge Guards and Below Eye-Line Mirrors. A $94.50 savings.

B= YG7 (includes A) Adds Turbo-Hydramatic Trans., Power Steering and Tilt. A $178.50 savings.

C= YG8 (includes A and B) Adds A/C and Tint. A $260.50 savings.

My truck was package C

What really set them apart, however, it the Plaid seatcover. It really sets the truck off.
