E-Bay Scammer. Please Read!!!!!!!
As many of you have probally read, I was recently burnt on E-Bay. Everybody wanted to know who it was. I gave this individual EVERY oppertunity to redeem themselves but they failed. They cashed my money order, did not ship item, threatened not to return my money, and now say "the check is in the mail". Yeah, right. The final straw was that this person left me negative feedback! They have my $200 and I get a bad rap. I intend to leave them bad feedback, but I only get 80 characters so I am thinking, I want it to count! Heres their feed back:
http://cgi2.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-c...rid=comeonbuy1 You read it and decide for yourself Heres the auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ory=33645&rd=1 Their E-Bay ID is Comeonbuy1 Avoid them at all cost. They are located in Oregon. BBB |

i had a gentleman bid on one of my trucks on ebay and won it and after the auction was over he didnt return my emails for like 3 weeks and then said he didnt want it but he never came and looked at it. but he did say he would return my sellers fees which after three weeks of ignoring me he said checks in the mail never got it so i applied for a final value credit and the next day he emailed me pissed because i guess it was his 3rd offense and ebay kicked him off or something to that effect its been to long to remember exactly but anyhow he left me feedback that says
(this guy tried to rip me off) can you believe the nerve of some people he screwed me and left feedback like that

Oh man, that really sucks. Recently happened to me (not ebay transaction). Sent a money order and guy never got it. Thanks for the heads up. I'll be sure and add him to my list of blocked bidders. The pic on that auction looks a little funny. Almost like it's a picture from a catalog or something. It doesn't look like he placed them on a table and snapped his own digital pic or something. Look at the pics in his current auctions, none of them look like the pic in this auction. Also, look at the feedback he has left about others. I always do before I bid. You really can get a good feel for the seller by reading what he has written about other buyers and sellers. I will never pay with a money order again. It's paypal or forget it.

Yep, that's where ebay sucks. Someone doesn't pay you, give them negative feedback, and you can expect some right back. I've been waiting for payment almost 2 weeks now, but I almost don't want to give negative feedback because I know it'll probably result in my 100% positive feedback being no more.
Hopefully you get your $$$ back somehow. Goodluck.

I had one bad experience on ebay but was saved by paying with a Postal Money Order. It's traceable and considered mail fraud if you don't get the item promised. If you used Postal you should be ok. You live near my cousins in Concord!. Good luck BBB!

The feedback that he left you is funny, it makes him look like a bad seller.

I had to look a couple times. they almost looked like the I had and have on there.but are different pictures.
I'm dealing with a personn that doesn't like the shipping cost for a tailgate band. they think 28 is to much for shipping. Why don't people understand about oversized packages costing alot to send.. 3 day and no email back from him. auction ended last friday. Ignorance runs rampid on ebay..I may not be the smartest man, but atleast I'm not them I don't hesitate to leave Neg feedback. I plan to friday when this guy doesn't respond back.. I state in my auctions respond within 5 days. if not neg feedback will happen..and seems almost everyone that doesn't respond back quickly seems to have someone dieing or sick in there family coincidence, I think not.. I would leave neg feedback and contact ebay. 70 c10 is right, hopefully it was a postal money order.. Good luck.

Looking at what kinda feedback he has, I wouldnt have bought from him in the first place
You should also be thinking of what to put when you respond under the negative feedback he left. Last edited by Gee_Emm; 01-09-2004 at 12:34 AM. |

You could ask Ebay to delete his neg feedback comment.
"as long as you kiss his ass you are fine when you dont watch out!! but pays good" It's obviously a totally childish comment and absolutly uncalled for. Tell them he used profanity. It may get their attention. If you leave a response to his neg feedback, take the high road IMO. Just state the facts. It will take the sting out of his dumb remark.

Sorry to here of your loss. I feel your pain. I was taken by truckparts67_72. They are running a close race on negative feedbacks. In the future, if they have that many feedbacks I will not bid. Their ratio of items sold vs negative feedbacks is not good. Bidding from someone like that really runs your risk up.

ebay bad apples
I got burnt too...
125 bucks for a set of heads. Guy strung me along for a month then stopped replying to me. I've found there is little you can do after a month.

Bad ebayer
Any board members in Oregon live close to this guy? I hate to do it, but I have threatened people with paying them personal visits. I travel every once in a while for business and tell them "fine, don't ship the item. I'll be more than happy to pick it up myself and collect my late fee..........". It has worked so far. The sad thing is, I will go out of my way to collect my debts just to prove a point. So if someone doesn't pay up, I'd probably spend more money in just making the point. I think they feel that so and so is across country so there is nothing they can do about it. Well, try me........

His feedbacks don't look all that bad to me? He has a few negatives but a whole lot of pos feedback. I'd think about it before bidding on an auction from him, but I wouldn't immediately discount it based on that feedback.
The thing is, makes me wonder what happened regarding this item? Why ruin a decent reputation for one item? Thanks, Ryan |
