Master Cylinder for '55 two ton

Does anyone know where I can find a dual master cylinder for a 6400? I would like a master that can be installed under floorboard like original.

I think your going to have to get one for a 3500 with a low reservoir. brakes for that size truck move a lot of fluid in and out of the reservoir. Are you using the stock brakes?

Find one in a junk yard and see it it fits under the floor.

Do you mean like off a modern Chevy 3500? I am running stock brakes. Obviously I want to be very safe!

nothing will bolt in and allow you to have under floor dual mc you will need to fabricate a bracket to hold the mc under the floor and the linkage between the pedal and the mc. as suggested by dwcsr, find a newer big truck with drum/drum brakes and make it work

The stock brakes system on your 2 ton is safe if it is in good condition. It is most likely a hydra-vac system and converting it over to a modern dual resivor master is not possible without changing the complete brake system.
