HELP!! lost pinion nut

Had it last night. Cant find it. Can i use a grade 8 nut to replace it? What size nut is it? Im so pisses I cant find it. Please help....lol

If it matters its the nut that is behind the washer to keep the yoke on for the drive shaft and threads on pinion. Any help is appreciated.

I found it.....thank god. It was driving me nuts.....lol. pun intended. So its a style like the one in the above link. Shouldn't the sleep on the nut go inside the washer? Mine does not.

When I lose something like that, it's usually next to the beer in the fridge.

If "sleep" = the narrow round portion, that faces the driveshaft.
