73-87 Stock Interior Photo Request

Looking for photos of your (or someone elses) stock interior 73-87. Need to get on to ordering a few parts but want to ensure I do it right.

Does anyone know how the LMC Truck dashes and bench seats are? Do they match accordingly? I know the little parts are fine but have never ordered something like this.

Thanks guys!

Heres my interior for reference.

How far from TX are you? I'll bring you a tan bench out of my CC for those buckets!

I would search the net for an OE GM dash vs aftermarket....

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

I don't know if this will help, but here's FRANKENTRUCK's odd green interior,...mostly unchanged from stock.

http://i1310.photobucket.com/albums/...psf5c145b4.jpg

New floor covering, bench re-upholstered, painted kickpanels, and new dash pad from Classic Industries. This is a hard working truck and all of this survives regular abuse.
Todd.

Re: 73-87 Stock Interior Photo Request

Here's a couple of quick cellphone pics of my mostly stock interior from my 81. The steering column and bezel are from an 86 because I wanted the high beams and wipers on the column instead of the dash. Hope it helps

Does GM not sell the new dash pad anymore? It was pricey ($500) but you get the OEM fit and finish.

Re: 73-87 Stock Interior Photo Request

Dont like the look of a high back bucket visible through the back window. Factory carpet does not go to the back wall so you could see the exposed insulation and floor between the seats. I know you could get a new carpet from LMC. Seats rattled just a little bit. I have buckets in my 85, buckets in my 07, and my 14 will have buckets when it arrives. I want this truck to appear stock other then some minor touches. Ill admit no console already sucks but thats the way it is. Had they not been a high back seat I may have kept them however then they wouldnt have been factory either.

Found the bench I needed in the right color and mint condition! Got it yesterday, installed last night, and sold the buckets this morning already.

Re: 73-87 Stock Interior Photo Request

Best looking bucket seats I've seen. Home made out of two bench seats.
I'm planning on doing this... some day!

That seat looks clean.

This a directdash dash. It looks OK, but not perfect. I still need a drivers door panel, as my drivers panel is cracked, but I have had no luck so far finding one.

Re: 73-87 Stock Interior Photo Request

I've got dial buckets from my 89 burb into my 78 jimmy, the pass seat rattles anyway, but i noticed the other day,it seems i need to tighten the bolts holding the back to the bottom.
i have some "wiggle" room,to tighten up,others may want to check that too
