8.1 miss

2001 GMC 2500HD seems to want to miss when you first start it up. you can feel almost a dead miss but seems to clear up after reving it up a few times. Installed new fuel pump and new wires with plugs? Could this be an injector? It does it everytime you shut it off for a while.

Check the Fuel Pressure Regulator for leakage, If fuel is present in the vacuum line, Replace regulator.

It could also be an injector that is partially stuck open. Both fpr and leaking injectors are very common on the 7.4. I'm not sure if the 8.1 had injector issues or not.
