How do you successfully put on the clip to hold the door handles and window crank? Is there a secret to putting these on? Thanks

Re: interior ??

Any parts store will have a tool that helps. Summit also sells one here's a link

Re: interior ??

The shank is shaped so that the handle, with clip installed, can be pushed on. Once pushed far enough, the clip pops into the recessed ring of the shank and retains the whole handle. The tool is only required to remove the clip when you want to remove the handle by popping it out sideways. Remember to always install the open end of the clip pointing toward the long handle lever - this way you will always remember how to insert the tool - directly under the lever part of the handle, slide it in to engage the clips open end then keep pushing pushing outward, away from the lever part of the handle, to pop out the clip.

Anyway, to install, just install the clip on the handle itself, then pop/push it onto the shank.
