Is this the correct table for ohms vs temp?

Troubleshooting my temp gauge, I found that a 100ohm resistor would give me a needle almost dead center in the gauge range.

Looking at this old Corvette chart from the late 60s, I'm hoping it's the same for ours. 100 ohms would be 180F which should indeed be about the middle of the operating range.

47 Ohm pretty much pegged it.
150 ohm should be about 150F and was at the first 'tick' on the gauge
200 ohm should be 130F but didn't register

Seem right?

Now I'm wondering if it's time for a pot of water and an oven thermometer to see what the sender does... at room temp it was 671 ohm which actually sounds about right

Well, me and one of my kids boiled a sender and mapped out the temp vs ohms. Here's what we got. Close enough for government work.
