I'll ask at the machine shop tomorrow. But it looks easy to me. I will also be getting prices for powder coating, polishing and chrome.

yes. drain hole can be threaded for small fee. Still getting machining quotes. I'll update you asap.

All counted up now between all the posts and other sites looks like 8 are in line for covers so far. Not bad for only 2 1/2 days, but really bad score in surperbowl.

Where in MI are you? If you are close to the Grand Rapids area we should be able to do the machine work for you if you are still looking for someone.

I'd be interested in one if it is a finished product - machined, perimeter and drain holes drilled, etc. I think you'd sell a lot more of them that way.

yes it will be a finished product. I was just a bit excited had to show the raw casting. The cover has been dropped off at the machine shop Saturday they said about a week turn around. Drain hole is an option but original location fill plug will be threaded. Holes will be drilled and counter bored for stainless steel arp flanged head 12-point bolts

Nice lookiing product. Do you know if this constitutes trademark infringement? You sure couldn't cast "GM" into the cover. I'm no narc, just curious.
