Rear Disk Brakes
There have been a few post lately about rear disk brakes but I havent seen anyone say for sure what will fit a 12 bolt with 15 inch wheels. Thought I saw someone say the mid 80s Cadillac will not fit. If I could find rotors and calipers that will fit I can get the brackets made. Anybody got a definate answer.

I just bought a nice set of plans off ebay for rear disc brakes. The plans specify a set of rear calipers from a mid eighties Camaro. Those are probably similar to the Impala calipers but I'm not sure. As soon as I heal up, I'm gonna do it. Plans came with templates to make all of the necessary mounting brackets out of 3/8" plate steel. I'm using Lokar cables for the e-brake and a mid seventies Corvette master cylinder with a Wilwood proportioning valve. A buddy of mine that is an engineer made to scale copies so I don't have to use the originals. I'll do a post and let everyone know how it went.

Black72 and I took a rear end out off a caprice cop car, and installed in his truck, it worked great, the wheel pattern was smaller , but he installed adapters to get back to 5x5, this also made up for the difference in the widths of the two rear ends, he also got the prop valve from the cop car, works great
