Ididit Column and Original Steering wheel - Horn Question

I've installed an Ididit column and want to use my original '57 steering wheel.

What are the tricks to get the horn button to work?

I don't think so.
The kit they have is for car wheels. It has a contact pin assembly, ring spacer and a contact plate that won't work with the truck wheel.

They do sell the contact pin assembly separately and I have that on order. There's no way the horn button will work without original type contact plate. I don't need the ring spacer either. The wheel fits on the column without a gap just fine. I'm also going to order a new original type of contact plate as the old one I've got isn't in that good of shape.
