I hope you guys don't get into a week long pi$$ing match over this issue, resto vs customizing. The last time I used the word "hack" in a post the fire-storm lasted for days.

correction 1- a full and correct restoration is not cheap or easy to do with factory correct parts.

correction 2- a nice custom built with catalog ordered parts does not always take a lot of thought or talent.

but, they both take a lot of $$$!!

We should all build what we like like, and respect each others choices...

...but I would certainly love to restore that cool burb, ...but maybe add disc brakes, oh, and maybe a few custom touches...
